Rapture Event in Peter Marks.....the new era of hair extentions??

Hey guys,
So last night I attended the launch in Peter Mark of their brand new hair extension range Rapture.
Now this is Peter mark first time entering the extension market.
As a brand they spent a lot of time looking for the right extension range to work with their ethos. They had to be ethically sourced, kind to the hair and also affordable for clients.
They also had to look natural which these do.
Rapture extensions are applied incredibly quickly,it took only about 50 mins for a whole head of 16 inch extensions to be applied and styled.

They come in every colour under the sun,so a colour match is guaranteed,or you can mix it up and go for a balayage effect or add highlight and low lights.The choice really is up to you.
It is also worth noting that once you purchase your extensions and have the applied,they belong to you. If you want to have them removed you can and you can keep them and reuse them at a later date. You just need to pay to have the reapplied each time. I like this idea as if you love to chop and change your look you don't need to purchase more hair each time.
Peter Mark put on a great night for the launch,they even put out the Red carpet,and greeted us with champagne and great nibbles. The wine was also flowing all night. Take a look at some photos from the event.

Tame your Brows with.....Ready,Set,Brow by Benefit

Hey guys,

So today I'm back with my thoughts on Benefits Ready,Set,Brow. I am a huge Benefit fan,used to get it in the states before it became available over here. Still remember how excited i was when they opened in Brown Thomas in Cork. That being said I have high standards for the brand,so was eager to try the new Brow range.

The "Ready, Set,Brow" is a 24hr shaper and setter. In a word its Fantastic. I have quite bushy eyebrows and even though they are threaded regularly they can get quite unruly. I also have coarse eyebrow hair so if anything tamed them then i would be very impressed.

This is impressive,my brows didn't budge. The gel itself is clear so it can be used on any hair colour. It is very easy to apply and it doesn't dry out and flake off. I have used this product alone on "no make- up" days and i have also worn it over other eyebrow products to set them.

The results were brilliant,my brows were tamed and set but didn't look like they were laden with product.
I would absolutely recommend this gel to anyone.

Joico Moisture Co+Wash Whipped Cleansing Conditioner *

Hey Dolls,

So today I'm back with a brand new concept.
Is is from exclusive haircare brand Joico and it is the Joico Colour Co+Wash Whipped Cleansing Conditioner.

Now I will say straight away this feels weird but in a wonderful way. It is like a shaving gel that you wash your hair with,so I was intrigued to say the least. To use you dispense,emulsify and apply to wet hair and leave in for 5 mins then rinse out.

A little goes a long way so it will last a long time. It feels very creamy but once you apply it to the hair the magic happens. You can feel the slip and slide as you apply it to your hair.

My hair was left literally squeaky clean and silky smooth. It is also ideal for colour treated and /or dry hair  which I have  (bloody greys ). It will leave your hair clean and super soft without stripping any of the colour!

The formula is very rich and is sulphate free and also helps to reduce breakage by up to 59%
What I  liked about this product was that it adds shine and volume whilst gently but thoroughly cleansing your hair.
Once you get your head around the fact that you are not washing your hair with shaving gel I  think you will fall in love with this.

It is a unique and innovative concept but one that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Wow me Wednesday featuring that's It Alfaparf milano

Hey dolls,
So recently I was lucky enough to receive a parcel from Alfaparf . It was their exciting new shampoo range called that's It blonde ambition. I was very excited to receive product from this range as they are a high end and well respected  brand.I received the blonde ambition shampoo and the treatment mask.

 Now the range says its for blonde hair but it is suitable for any hair colour. First thing i noticed was the fragrance...it smells amazing. The second thing worth noting is that it is purple...deep purple.

 Do not be scared it will not turn your hair purple. What it will do is leave your hair silky smooth and super shiny. The purple tone is to combat any brassiness in the blonde hair.
 Now my hair is dark brown but a few weeks after colouring it (to hide the greys) it starts to loose it shine and go dull and flat. This shampoo really gave my hair amazing shine.My hair was also left silky smooth and very manageable. This is just from the shampoo alone, i shampoo my hair and leave it in for about 3 mins before rinsing out. I also love the fact that it is sulphate and paraben free. I was also sent the that's It blonde ambition  mask. This is not purple but a pearlesent white. It also smells divine. I left this on my hair for 10 mins ( i was shaving my legs ). When i washed it out my hair felt like silk and whilst the shine from the shampoo was amazing the shine following the mask was mirror like. This is because of the light reflecting pearl particles in the products that diffuse light. It also contains ceremide to strenghten the hair.  This means not only does look better it actually is better and stronger.

Now as i said my hair is dark brown and i loved the products,i also gave them to my mum to try out. She has natural salt and pepper hair now (its fab)  so wanted to see how she would get on with it. The night she used it she rang me to tell me how shiny her hair was. She said prior to this shampoo she found it hard to get shine on her hair. She loves it ....so much so she wont give it back lol.
